UK data protection and privacy is changing by means of the new GDPR guideline, and so we are getting ahead of the curve by reinforcing how we use your personal information.

 

WHAT IS GDPR?

The General Data Protection Regulation is a legal framework that comes into play from 25th May 2018. The regulation will focuses on how companies collect, store and management personal data, ie. personal data about individuals. The GDPR applies to any company or sole trader who hold or process personal data.

 

OUR SERVICES

Lockesleys offer full electrical testing and repairs for both commercials properties and domestic dwellings. Lockesleys also provide Planned Maintenance for Property Agents and Block Management companies.

 

WHAT PERSONAL DATA DOES LOCKESLEYS COLLECT?

We collect landlord and tenant name and address information from third party agents and direct from the tenant. We also gather contact telephone numbers, email addresses and billing address information. All telephone calls are recorded for quality & training purposes. Recordings are only held for a period of 12 months.

 

HOW DOES LOCKESLEYS USE YOUR DATA?

Lockesleys uses your data for the purpose for which it was collected. In order to communicate with clients and customers, Lockesleys uses the contact and address information listed above. For the purpose of liaising and planning projects, Lockesleys uses email addresses and billing address details. 

 

When you communicate with us via email or via our website, we keep a record of this information.

 

If you connect to using Facebook or LinkedIn, we will receive certain pockets of information about your account profile platform’s Network. The specific information provided to us by Linked Networks is determined by these third parties and may vary by network. In all cases, the permissions page for the Linked Network will describe the information being shared. You should consult their respective privacy policies for information about their practices.

 

WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

The sharing of your data is done in a controlled and confidential way. We only share data with engineers and operatives who are responsible for working with our client directly. We do not use any personal data for marketing, or third-party affiliates.
